POSITION SUMMARY Alterra's Corporate Development group is responsible for helping shape and drive Alterra's inorganic growth. We identify industry trends; partner with our corporate function and resort teams; maintain and develop relationships with key external parties; and leverage the broader Alterra platform to acquire strategic businesses and mountain destinations that support Alterra's goals. In addition to acquisitions, we influence build versus buy decisions that support Alterra's employee and guest experience goals, and we lead post-acquisition integration as the underwritten business plan is operationalized. As a member of the Corporate Development team, you will hold an influential role in driving a significant portion of Alterra's future growth and innovation. You will have primary responsibility for business and financial analysis of potential transactions, management of due diligence and deal execution efforts, global market and industry analysis, and involvement in the broader development of industry relationships and acquisition opportunities. Alterra's Corporate Development team is in the early build phase, which means there's no shortage of opportunities to roll up your sleeves, work with Alterra's executive leadership team, and grow with the organization. EDUCATION REQUIRED
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of the Company's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
