Job Overview

KI is seeking a Sales Associate to join our New York sales team to market our products in the greater New York area. In this position, you will partner with a Senior Sales Specialist to learn KI's unique go to market strategy. You will work together to call on decision makers and end-users to market KI products and work closely with influential architects and designers to increase KI awareness and consideration in targeted building and renovation projects. In this role, you will work from your home office but can expect to be out calling on clients much of the time. We have a great training program to help you learn our business.

Responsibilities



  • Identify and advance new sales opportunities in assigned areas and assigned existing accounts.
  • Advance and close sales opportunities shifted from the assigned Sales Specialist partner.
  • Create presentations and sales proposals, adjusting content for customer and market needs.
  • Facilitate "lunch and learns" with clients.
  • Understand and monitor competitor products/strategies to best leverage KI products and services with clients.
  • Educate and engage customers, making recommendations on new products/services as well as changes in existing products/services to best service customer needs.
  • Utilize social networks to drive business results.



What you Need to Succeed



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • One-year previous sales experience preferred.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
