Dunwoody College of Technology is currently seeking Adjunct Instructors for several exciting courses in the School of Design. We are looking for passionate educators and experienced professionals to help shape the next generation of designers through engaging, practice-based instruction.

Adjunct Instructors play a vital role in guiding students through the learning process, ensuring they acquire the knowledge, skills, and professionalism essential to success in the design fields. This includes contributing to curriculum development, reinforcing a collaborative studio culture, and promoting continuous student growth and academic excellence.

Description:

Design Representation is an introduction to methods of visual graphics and the basic tools and skills needed to develop professional presentations. Develop an understanding of analog and digital tools, composition, visual narrative, and verbal and visual communication.

Days: Tuesday & Wednesday

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Description:

Explore the creation of computer-generated photorealistic objects and scenes. Emphasis on composing product shots, focusing on 3D objects that are suitable for user interfaces.

Day: Monday

Time: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Description:

Industry and Profession explores the history, structure, and organization of design practices. Discover and develop communication and collaborative skills along with an appreciation and understanding of the unique roles of design disciplines.

• A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture/Design, Graphic Design or related fields; OR
• A bachelor's degree and 18 graduate credits in Architecture, Interior Architecture/Design, Graphic Design or related fields; OR
• A master's degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture/Design, Graphic Design, or related fields OR
• A BARCH or MARCH
• 3+ more years of design and/or teaching experience
