As an SRE, you'll shape the future of healthcare by crafting intelligent infrastructure solutions that ensure critical health information reaches the right people at the right time reliably and securely. What You'll Do:
  • Innovate and Build: Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure solutions, focusing on capabilities that directly improve development velocity and system reliability for healthcare technology applications.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with development, security, and operations teams to brainstorm solutions, prototype infrastructure improvements, and refine deployment processes.
  • Champion Best Practices: Implement Infrastructure as Code, propose emerging DevOps technologies, and guide teams in balancing security, performance, and scalability.
  • Lead and Mentor: Share your knowledge and passion with peers, helping development teams become more autonomous and adopt efficient, scalable deployment practices.
  • Shape the Future: Contribute to our infrastructure and take ownership of projects that have a real impact on healthcare technology delivery.
Experience you will have:
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GoCD, Jenkins)
  • Version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub)
  • Configuration management (Chef, Ansible, Puppet)
  • Container orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS)
  • Logging and monitoring (NewRelic, Grafana, Loki, Splunk)
Nice to have:
  • Experience as a DevOps Engineer in the healthcare industry
  • Object-oriented programming languages and design patterns
  • Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and ePHI security considerations
  • Knowledge of various architectural approaches, such as microservices
  • Docker / Containerization expertise
  • Security operations and compliance frameworks
  • On-call rotation experience and incident response
  • GitLab, GitHub, etc.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related technical field and six (6) or more years' experience in DevOps/SRE, infrastructure, and solution delivery, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in similar fields, is required, with experience working with a SaaS-based solution delivery organization (preferred).
