Your Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing the 3PL strategy and execution across all modes within the US, Canada, and Inbound shipments from Mexico. Build multi-layer partnership between Vantive and our 3PL partners for the best support of cross-functional initiatives leading to value creation and optimization. This role will play a key part in the Americas Fulfillment strategy and should be able to work cross-functionally to support all areas of the supply chain. Commercial and Customer Service interaction will be crucial for the success of this role. Partner with internal team on driving best practices to increase efficiency of operation. Analyze KPIs to quickly identify operational deficiencies, cost reduction opportunities and service issues for our customers.

Work Set up: This is an on-site position, requiring 5 days a week of in-person work.

What you'll do:

• Create a multi-year roadmap with clear deliverables for all stakeholders through the completion of the contract and beyond.

• Develop a risk mitigation strategy across all 3PL services should there be any interruption of service due to unforeseen circumstances.

• Negotiate with 3PL partners effectively to drive a strong relationship and to ensure we meet or exceed our budget targets

• Collaborate effectively with Transportation, Customer Service, Commercial and Warehousing teams across all levels to support efficient flow of products.

• Consistently review all 3PL options with existing and new providers that could add value to Baxter while reducing risk of supply continuity.

• Retain, develop and grow individual talent on the team.

• Drive continuous improvement culture with a pipeline of ideas for service improvements, cost reduction, efficiency and/or optimization of our replenishment network.

• Ability to quickly prioritize work across the team to drive the greatest impact to the organization Present and influence Supply Chain senior leadership.

• Communicate BCP proactively across the organization in the case of any potential disruption caused by weather, civil unrest or any other unforeseen circumstances.

What you'll bring:

• BS in Operational/Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or similar degree

• 8+ years of related experience

• Have an in depth understanding of US and Canada Operations as well as flow of product from Mexico into the US.

• Strong leadership skills including leading cross-functional projects with broad scope and impact to Vantive Deep understanding of all aspects of Supply Chain including financial, operational, cost impacts, inventory turns and service levels

• Strong communication skills (with Commercial, Customers, direct reports, peers, and leadership) and ability to develop rapport with other functional leaders inside Baxter and Supply base

• Thinks strategically, embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements.

• Requires the ability to influence the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations

• Strong development skills for developing top talent

• Analytical mindset for solving complex cross functional problems

• Demonstrated experience in leading complex negotiations with customers and/or suppliers

• Ability to communicate and present to multiple levels of the organization Agile mindset to constantly adapt to a changing environment

• Working knowledge of JDE and WMS applications

At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000 to $115,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
