Nemean Solutions, headquartered in Sierra Vista, AZ, is a certified SBA 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) and veteran-operated company providing advanced Military Intelligence, Enterprise and Cloud IT services, Cybersecurity, Special Operations Forces (SOF) Exercise and Training, and niche Program Support and Professional Services to Federal and State Agencies supporting the US Government Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors. Job Summary: The on-call Security Specialist will provide access control to building while ensuring visitors sign-in/out and are properly escorted to their locations and other duties as outlined below. Support Hours: Sunday through Sunday part time on call. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide access control to building and ensure visitors sign-in/out and are properly escorted.
- Verify visitor clearances, gate access forms, and compare inquiries to databases.
- Maintain and utilize Government-furnished computerized visitor databases to include the Security Management Systems (SMS), Defense Information System for Security (DISS) or follow on system, Command Reporting Operations Support System (CROSS), hardcopy clearance records or visit authorization files and forms.
- Handle protocol for meetings. Create and vet meeting lists ensuring clearances are passed correctly within databases and communicating with POCs, admins or FSOs.
- Monitor all on-site personnel for compliance to security policies and regulations within a SCIF.
- Issue, receive and conduct inventory/ accountability of visitor badges.
- Issue and update campus badges for employees
- Monitor and evaluate directorates for OPSEC, INFOSEC, and strong overall security posture
- Support functions pertaining to physical security involving restricted areas.
- Coordinate the issuance and update property passes with the security manager and monitor all property entering/exiting.
- Receive, register, control and safeguard incoming and outgoing security classified mail.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements/Education:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experienced in Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, and use of databases.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Great customer service skills and professionalism with visitors and collaboration with others.
- Ability to multi-task working with visitors, various computer tasks, and phone calls.
- Preferred experience with DISS, SMS, CROSS or other similar government databases.
- On-call, weekday-daytime availability a must. (Typical requests any time Monday to Friday between 6am-5pm).
Security Requirement:
- TS/SCI clearance required or hold TS if eligible for SCI.
