MHS is seeking a Coordinator of Facilities Work Orders to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Central Inventory/VEM & Facilities Department. This position is essential to the smooth functioning of services across campus and acts as a hub for work order processing, communication, and administrative support. The coordinator will monitor, and dispatch requests related to Central Inventory, Vehicle & Equipment Maintenance (VEM), Grounds & Landscaping, and Facility Services. Key Responsibilities:



  • Enter and manage daily work orders and data across multiple systems.
  • Monitor and reconcile the department's purchasing card (P-card) usage.
  • Collect, coordinate, and disseminate information across departments and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with administrative teams to ensure smooth department operations.
  • Coordinate events and professional development training sessions for Facilities staff.
  • Manage ordering, tracking, and distribution of departmental resources.
  • Provide general administrative support to Facilities supervisors and managers.


The work schedule is Monday - Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm with occasional overtime hours. Hourly pay rate: $22.33 - 29.81. Pay is determined based on experience. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least 3 years of administrative experience in a high-volume, fast-paced office environment
  • Experience with purchase orders and budget tracking required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, internet navigation, and general office equipment; PeopleSoft experience preferred
  • Prior experience with two-way radio communications
  • Strong data entry skills and acute attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Outstanding organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service
  • Candidates should be willing to actively engage with students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities
  • Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS Staff are role models for MHS Students.
