The Department of Radiology at Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson health seeks candidates for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor positions in the clinician educator track or the clinician scholar track across multiple subspecialty sections.

The Jefferson Department of Radiology provides clinical services for the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Methodist Hospital and Jefferson Hospital for Neurosciences and several outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Academic positions are also available at Jefferson Einstein and Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital sites.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Interpret a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures focusing on the body, including but not limited to MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray examinations.
  • Provide accurate and timely radiological assessments, generating detailed reports to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate closely with referring physicians and healthcare teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain proficiency in the latest radiological techniques, technologies, and protocols, staying abreast of advancements in the field
  • Teaching responsibilities include daily clinical supervision, teaching residents and fellows during readouts and conferences, and participating in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties. Teaching of medical students will be limited to those rotating through the Department of Radiology.

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an Accredited Program
  • Completion of an Accredited Radiology Residency
  • Appropriate Licenses and Certifications
