Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Data Manager (CDM). This role is ideal for a skilled data management professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-functional environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and timely delivery of clinical data to support key development programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Collaborate with the Clinical Data Management Lead to support operational activities across one or more clinical programs.
- Monitor the performance and deliverables of external data management vendors using defined quality metrics.
- Maintain program-level data management timelines aligned with broader development strategy; escalate risks or delays as appropriate.
- Represent data management in cross-functional team meetings by providing status updates and identifying potential data-related issues and risks.
- Draft electronic Case Report Form (eCRF) designs and edit check specifications; facilitate internal review and feedback.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for EDC systems to ensure quality and compliance.
- Engage with external data vendors and contribute to the development of Data Transfer Agreements (DTAs).
- Assist in the creation and implementation of key data reports and metrics listings.
- Prepare and review essential data management documentation including annotated CRFs, eCRF Completion Guidelines, Clinical Data Management Plans, and database go-live/lock materials.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8+ years of clinical data management experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven expertise with electronic data capture (EDC) systems, especially Oracle Inform.
- Strong knowledge of data management industry standards and best practices, including CDISC/CDASH implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue identification and resolution.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; capable of cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
