Position Title: Process Technician - 3rd Shift
Wage: $25.00 - $32.00/hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 10:00pm - 6:00am Are your skills not being fully utilized? Reach your maximum potential by working with QPS! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Process Technician at a company in Ankeny, IA. This is a direct hire position for 3rd shift. Apply today! Process Technician Responsibilities: - Perform set up functions of machines - Ensure machine safety features are working properly and follow all safety standards and protocols - Start, stop, program and optimize an injection molding machine using decoupled molding methodology - Identify errors in product and troubleshoot to find root of issue - Adjust machine operation, temperatures, calibrations, amounts of resin, etc. to correct issues - Show an understanding of processes and train new employees - Coordinate production schedule with supervision, scheduling, setup - Document changes to process parameters on revised master setup sheets, parameters change logs, process check sheets, SPC charts - Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild end-of-arm tooling as well as program basic operations of the robot Requirements for Process Technician: - Previous Process Tech experience in working with injection plastics (at least 2 years preferred) - Demonstrate a working knowledge of set-up for injection molding machines - Able to stand at a machine for the entire shift - Able to stoop, kneel, or crouch on an occasional basis - Able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel - Able to lift at least 50 lbs. on an occasional basis QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
