Summary:

Goldbelt Professional Services, LLC is seeking a Public Health Analyst III to work within the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position will support global programs and preparedness activities across NCIRD. Most of this work will be performed remotely and assist the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Roybal Campus in Atlanta, GA. The CDC is the nation's premier health promotion, prevention, and preparedness agency. The Public Health Analyst III will report to Goldbelt Professional Services' leadership to ensure the execution of timely, high-quality deliverables for the client.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain existing MS Teams tools used by the Preparedness and Planning Coordination Unit (PPCU), including but not limited to the Clearance, Staff, Travel, and Task Tracker Tools.
• Develop new tools using Power BI and MS Teams to enhance NCIRD's capacity to support public health emergencies as directed.
• Coordinate the development of materials such as plans, instructions, and other documents to support the preparedness tools.
• Provide technical monitoring for tools developed by NCIRD.
• Offer technical support for the Text Illness Monitoring (TIM) System.
  • Set up weekly collaboration sessions with the vendor.
  • Review messages for federal, state, and tribal partners.
  • Establish weekly office hours for questions and answers.
  • Prepare presentations for NCIRD and the Emergency Preparedness and Response Coordination (EPLC) for review and approval
• Manage the review and approval of response documents through clearance coordinators.
• Utilize and maintain clearance tools to manage documents in the clearance process.
• Provide instructional guidance to responders for requesting functional roles.
• Maintain response taskings using the task tracker tool and staffing plans using the staffing tool.
• Manage the weekend/holiday On-Call roster and coordinate with the EOC when necessary.
• Collaborate with the respective budget manager to ensure the spend plan remains updated.
• Establish and maintain MS Teams sites, providing initial training as necessary.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Proven experience in public health operations and staffing management.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using coordination tools, staffing tools, and clearance tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders within NCIRD and CDC leadership.
• Experience in managing travel logistics and budget coordination for large teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience in providing technical support and training to end-users.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years' experience in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or related discipline.
• Experience conducting data-driven analysis and preparing reports for public health programs.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining tools using MS Teams and Power BI.
• Strong technical skills with a focus on public health preparedness tools.
• Familiarity with various public health surveillance systems and data management tools.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95,000.00 to $106,500.00 annually.
