Under the direction of the Vice President, Strategic Transformation, the Director, Transformation is responsible for planning, monitoring, and directing the effective implementation of initiatives that drive tangible organizational results, enable the achievement of the organizations growth goals, and support the strategic priorities of the executive leadership team. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing daily activities of project management and performance improvement staff and activities in the areas of application support, analytics and reporting, process improvement and project management including ensuring alignment of all activities to System objectives and initiatives.
- Supports development of process and project acumen throughout the organization through the development and deployment of core curriculum and by ensuring that all staff coach others in order to spread their expertise.
- Collaborates with the Vice President, Strategic Transformation, key leaders in Operations, Clinical, Business Development, Planning and Analytics, Innovation, Finance, and Quality.
- Work on executive level strategic priorities and manage the work of the transformation consultants who are deployed across the enterprise to drive transformational change.
- Stays apprised of new approaches, innovations, and integration opportunities serving as a teacher, coach, and doer.
- Interacts with and leads teams in a highly matrixed environment with considerable engagement with leadership.
The Director, Transformation will have an interest and experience working on initiatives focused on business growth, physician alignment and engagement, health plan and delivery system alignment, and new business ventures. This role requires a flexible, enthusiastic, experienced leader, who also enjoys rolling up their sleeves.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in process engineer/improvement, planning, clinical quality/safety, operations, or management consulting experience, required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of managing professionals, required.
- An emphasis in healthcare is preferred.
- Previous experience in major project management and strategic planning and deployment is preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's Degree, required. Master's degree (M.A., M.S., M.B.A.) in Business, Engineering, Management, Healthcare Services Administration, Nursing, or another clinical field is preferred.
