Job Posting: Director, Global Digital Commerce - Wrangler Provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction to drive the ecommerce business for the Wrangler brand as well as to identify and lead current and future ecommerce digital marketing activities. This position manages the P & L for the Wrangler ecommerce business in North America, managing the key drivers of contribution dollars and establishing a strong foundation for future growth. The ecommerce responsibility also supports other key, related operational processes in marketing, merchandising, inventory planning, order fulfillment, customer service and technology; and also maintains and builds upon established control-related standards and procedures. In additional, this position will assist in developing and executing digital marketing strategies for the brand through on-line promotions, social media, brand site development and email marketing. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining global connectivity between ecommerce teams, proliferating ecommerce best practices across markets and ensuring a cohesive Wrangler digital commerce experience is delivered, leveraging test-and-learn insights across markets, and advancing the consumer-facing experience. Responsibilities
- Oversee concept development, strategizing, planning, implementation, coordination and profitability of Wrangler ecommerce initiatives, including defining goals, objectives and associated tactics. Direct the product and selling strategies for the brand's online presence and properties.
- Oversee development of digital strategy to ensure integrated digital consumer experience for Wrangler across owned sites, social and other digital properties.
- Serve as advisor and subject matter expert across regions for Wrangler digital commerce businesses and websites. Proliferate ecommerce and digital marketing best practices, insights and strategies across markets, including NAM, EMEA and the Americas.
- Develop and build business opportunities and leverage emerging technologies to support online and multi-channel efforts.
- Collaborate with other internal departments across functions and geographies to establish strong integration and relationships; becoming an extension of their business. Build and maintain relationships with departments including marketing, information technology, finance, merchandising and international ecommerce teams.
- Develop partnerships with third-party vendors to identify and apply solutions for site enhancements and design, customer acquisition and conversion, website optimization, marketing and promotions and email, affiliate and search initiatives, collaborating with global partners to identify optimal mix of global and local solutions.
- Support the successful planning and achievement of growth objectives of Kontoor digital programs, including responsibility for digital pricing, promotions and product presentation in partnership with product merchandising, marketing, sales and finance.
- Identify and promote opportunities for site and process improvement through technology. Translate concepts, ideas and improvements into key business objectives. Work with digital and other cross-functional, internal and external partners to ensure consistent platforms and leverage efficiencies wherever possible.
- Develop ecommerce enhancement plans from careful study of analytics and consumer data. Identify, track and report usage, costs and statistical data to senior management and internal partners. Through a variety of reports and formats, synthesize relevant data into decision-making tools. Provide necessary data to support business decisions related to digital commerce. Maintain operational efficiency of digital properties and presence.
- Serve as subject matter expert and internal consultant in cross-functional applications of digital commerce and digital marketing initiatives; keep current with latest ecommerce and digital marketing trends and technology to keep site and activities at the forefront of our category.
Experience
- 7+ years of ecommerce management
Education
- BA or BS in Marketing, Business, Information Services or related field
Skills
- High aptitude and experience in digital commerce technologies, web design and digital marketing programs
- Demonstrated excellence in project management as well as in people management, motivation and leadership
- Recent and successful track record in building and running ecommerce business; experience in establishing procedures, implementing processes and successful execution
- Strong knowledge of and successful experience with commerce-driven digital marketing activities
- Experienced in critical/strategic planning, financial analysis, budget management and data organization
