Job Title: General Production Worker - Food & Beverage Location: Aurora, CO Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Pay: $20.00/hour Position Overview: We are looking for reliable and motivated General Production Workers to join our production team in Aurora, CO. The ideal candidate will assist in the production of high-quality food and beverage products by performing various tasks on the production line, ensuring that all production goals and safety standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork are key. Key Responsibilities for General Production Worker: - Operate and monitor machinery and equipment on the production line, ensuring products are produced to specification, in a timely manner, and within quality standards - Assist in the packaging, labeling and sealing of food and beverage products according to company guidelines - Inspect products for defects, damages, or quality issues - Clean production areas, machines, and equipment regularly to ensure a safe and hygienic environment - Assist with material handling, restocking raw ingredients or supplies as needed, and ensuring that production materials are available and properly stored - Adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe handling practices for food items, machinery, and chemicals - Work closely with other production staff, including supervisors, operators, and quality control teams, to ensure efficient production and resolve any issues that arise - Complete basic production logs and reports, recording production quantities, downtime, and any issues that occur during shifts Qualifications for General Production Worker: - Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required; Food industry experience is a plus - Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks - Ability to consistently check for quality and ensure production standards are met - Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to meet production goals - Knowledge of and commitment to following all workplace safety and sanitation guidelines - Willingness to adapt to varying work schedules, including weekends, evenings, and occasional overtime Benefits: - QPS offers healthcare insurance through American Workforce after 4 weeks on assignment and paid holidays after 960 worked hours Application Deadline: None, Always Accepting Candidates IND152 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
