Job Summary
The Employment Brand Specialist develops and executes social media campaigns and recruitment branding content for staff positions at the Georgia Institute of Technology. The role directly engages with employees and leaders to develop strategic goal-aligned and value-driven branding designed to attract, engage, and retain talent. The Employment Brand Specialist works to convey and amplify a positive employee experience and University work culture through social media platforms, videos, print, and various forms of communication. Through intentional campaigns and branding artifacts, this position identifies and highlights unique and desirable attributes that set Georgia Institute of Technology apart from competitors and make it a desirable workplace.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Work closely with the Employment Brand Manager and communications staff to design and develop a brand strategy that increases internal engagement and attracts external talent. Job Duty 2 - Curate content for Georgia Institute of Technology Human Resources social media accounts related to recruitment and branding. Work with the Employment Brand Manager and Sr. Director of Employee Experience to ensure social media standards and University strategic goals are aligned and met. Job Duty 3 - Work collaboratively with the Employment Brand Manager on thoughtful and strategic recruitment and marketing campaigns from idea to execution designed to increase brand awareness and actively build candidate pipelines. Job Duty 4 - Serve as the brand ambassador while attending in-person events and capture and collect content to create graphically appealing and visually on-brand resources for recruitment and retention initiatives. Job Duty 5 - Stay informed about current tactics, trends, networks, and platforms that will most effectively reach your targeted recruitment audiences. Job Duty 6 - Assist in developing online marketing initiatives to promote job families and career opportunities. Job Duty 7 - Support in creating and producing all printed recruiting materials, including brochures, flyers, signage, slides, and ads. Job Duty 8 - Define, identify, and amplify through social media platforms and print mediums the unique, relevant, and compelling benefits that make the Georgia Institute of Technology an attractive workplace. Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience One to two years of job-related experience Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Experience Five or more years of job-related experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, E-Marketing, or Social Media campaigns Proposed Salary
Pay Range: $26.46-$35.98/hr. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
KNOWLEDGE Advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of Content Management Systems. General knowledge of video editing software and tools (i.e., Adobe, Apple iMovie, Apple Final Cut, etc.). General knowledge of social media campaigns, communication techniques, and branding best practices for recruitment strategies. ABILITIES Ability to create and produce innovative and original ideas using various social media platforms. Able to use a variety of graphic design tools and software to create original and creative content (i.e., Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.). Able to work cross-functionally in a large organization. Self-directed and able to adapt quickly to a fast-moving environment. USG Core Values
