Nurse Practitioner BURN CARE Full Time 85269BR Job Summary The Nurse Practitioner shall provide medical care under the supervision of the Burn Attending and Medical Director, and their individual collaborating physicians. The Nurse Practitioner shall provide care in accordance with standardized procedures. The Nurse Practitioner shall be proficient in the areas of arterial catheter insertion, central venous catheter insertion, burn care, wound care, ventilator management, sedation, and pain control. The Medical Staff Office on a biannual basis grants privileges to practice at UCSF Medical Center. Department Description The Burn Inpatient and Outpatient clinic at St. Francis provide care for patients undergoing intensive burn care, patients requiring complex medical management, as well as follow up management of burn care.
