Position : Auto Mechanic
Shift : 1 st Shift / Flexible hours
Wages: $15.00 - $35.00/hour depending on experience
Summary : We are looking for an Auto Mechanic to join our reputable team in Slinger, WI. This is a full-time, onsite role performing basic car maintenance to diagnostics, keeping cars safe and reliable for our customers.
Role Description
  • Inspecting and maintaining various vehicle systems, performing suspension work, and ensuring vehicle safety.
  • The role requires hands-on technical work and a strong understanding of automotive systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, brake jobs, fluid services, tire rotation, etc.)
  • Complete mechanical repairs including suspension work, belt and hose replacement, cooling systems, exhaust, and minor engine repairs
  • Assist with diagnostics using scan tools and testing equipment
  • Perform vehicle inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs
  • Interpret work orders and follow procedures to meet manufacturer and industry standards
  • Communicate repair needs clearly to service advisors and other team members
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety guidelines
  • Keep up with training and advancements in automotive technology
Qualifications
  • The role requires hands-on technical work and a strong understanding of automotive systems.
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and basic diagnostic procedures
  • Familiarity with OEM service information and scan tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment
  • ASE certifications a plus (especially A4-A8)
  • Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Oil Changes
  • Skills in Automotive Repair and General Maintenance & Repair
  • Experience in working on Suspension systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Certification in automotive technology or related field is a plus
