Responsibilities: Participate in the execution of external audit engagements, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Review, collect, and analyze data to detect deficient controls in accordance with the SOX Act Section 404 and evaluate internal control deficiencies in accordance with PCAOB guidelines. Deploy technical knowledge of accounting and disclosure requirements prescribed by Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 310, 326, and 820. Perform risk assessment analysis, internal control audit program development, and related testing, utilizing PCAOB Audit Standard No. 5. Review SEC filings and research technical accounting issues. Understand and utilize KPMG's Audit Methodology. WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the offered position or a related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a master's degree plus three (3) years of experience. Three (3) years of experience must include: U.S. GAAS; U.S. GAAP; PCAOB; SOX 404; AICPA; COSO framework; and ASC 310. Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location depending on business need. LICENSE REQUIREMENT: CPA license required. TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Up to 10% travel to various domestic locations per business need.
