A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry. As the S&OP Analyst you will: Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate supply of required materials to OEMs via global warehouses, managing both short-term execution and long-term planning
- Analyze daily EDI requirements to create accurate sales orders and identify trends or anomalies
- Complete daily order processing (e.g., create sales orders, verify A/R release status) while continuously improving process efficiency
- Adjust breakpoints for new materials based on availability and OEM forecast trends
- Develop and present material contingency and recovery plans to address potential supply risks
- Identify and resolve S&OP mismatches between materials and part numbers by working directly with OEMs and internal stakeholders
- Prepare and analyze S&OP reports with insights and actionable recommendations
- Actively participate in and lead discussions during team meetings and HQ collaboration sessions to align demand and supply strategies
- Review and define proper material labeling by OEM, ensuring compliance and system accuracy
- Monitor and report KPI results to leadership; partner cross-functionally (Sales, SCM, HQ) to maximize revenue and operational efficiency
- Develop and communicate workplans to warehouses and monitor inventory levels to ensure on-time delivery
- Evaluate and adjust demand forecasts and purchasing plans using historical trends and business inputs to optimize inventory
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives and ad hoc strategic projects in the S&OP process
- As needed, transfer material to/from office, warehouse, customer/OEM locations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain and/or S&OP
- Excellent written and verbal skills: In-person and virtual meetings via phone and e-mail/messaging/video conference tools (e.g. Outlook, Teams, Webex, text messaging)
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills necessary to lead discussions with internal/external stakeholders (e.g., customers, HQ) and develop successful resolutions of complex customer/supplier issues
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset to collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments
- Ability to think outside the box, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and manage competing priorities/multitask
- Experienced in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Working knowledge of ERP, MRP, and WMS
- Responsible for hosting / supporting meetings via early/late hours based on supply/operation issues
- Travel: up to 10% international & domestic
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing between 10-20 lbs.
Preferred:
- Bilingual in both English and Korean
- Experience in manufacturing environment & supply chain role (S&OP, Demand planning, Supply Planning)
