Internship Job Summary

As a Pre-Bond Marketing Intern, you will be a valued member of our marketing and regional team, gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic construction industry specifically in the K12 market. This internship provides a unique opportunity for a college student to play an integral role in promoting our K12 clients as they seek community support of a bond proposal by supporting branding efforts and developing campaign strategies.

You will have the chance to develop expertise in committee and stakeholder organization, content creation, community engagement, campaign development and campaign strategy. Throughout the internship, you'll collaborate with team members, learn about the construction industry's unique marketing needs, and contribute to initiatives that showcase our company's value and capabilities.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to bring fresh ideas to the table, support team goals, and develop skills in recognizing trends and crafting effective marketing solutions for a growing organization.

What You Will Do:

As a Pre-Bond Marketing Intern, you play a crucial part in supporting the K12 pre-bond team. Primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to:



  • Assist in strategizing with local school districts about their bond campaign needs.
  • Support campaign content planning and scheduling, ensuring consistent engagement and alignment with company and the District brand standards.
  • Help draft and edit content campaign communications.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop individual client strategies and then implement them with the District team and greater communities.
  • Organize and track marketing campaigns, gathering metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage photo and video libraries, ensuring project imagery is updated and accessible for internal and external use related to our K12 project portfolio.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh ideas to enhance brand visibility and client engagement.
  • Attend client meetings, conferences and district community meetings.
  • Assist with other tasks as assigned to support the marketing and communications team.



What You Bring to the Team:

Required Education and Experience



  • Active, full-time Senior level student pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Shows participation and/or leadership roles in student organizations or extracurricular club activities.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA


Preferred Education and Experience



  • Working knowledge of other Adobe Creative suite applications, such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills including attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective relationship building capacity.


Additional Eligibility Qualifications



  • Proficient in MS Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, InDesign and Acrobat.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be proficient in grammar, spelling and punctuation and have accurate proofreading skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective relationship building capacity with internal team members at different levels in the organization as well as external partners.
  • Confident, consultative style in expressing opinions in a collaborative work environment.


Work Environment

The job will be conducted in a temperature controlled professional office environment, with moderate noise. The role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, listen sit, walk, reach, kneel, stoop, crouch, use hands and fingers to handle or feel and to operate a computer and telephone keyboard, and maintain visual acuity.
