Equiliem Staffing is looking to hire multiple part-time/full-time Processing Technicians for a temp to direct opportunity in Gretna, LA!!!! No prior scientific experience needed! Perfect for college students and someone looking for a 2nd job, but all are welcome! Monday to Friday SHIFT: 10am to 3:30pm 10am to 6:30pm 2pm to 10:30pm 4pm to 1030pm *The hours are non-negotiable* Starting at $14/hr The main function of a(n) Processing/Accessioning Tech is to receive and prepare urine specimens for processing in a production laboratory. Specifically, entering data from requisition forms and specimen bottles into the Laboratory database using a computer keyboard and/or bar code scanner. Position also entails receiving urine samples, removing packaging materials, and loading them into trays for processing. Must be able to carry 10 to 15 lb. trays up to 40 yards AND HAVE ABILITY TO STAND UP FOR UP FOR WHOLE SHIFT. Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as within a group and manage one's time well. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Explorer helpful.
