- Lead a software development team and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture by providing guidance, mentorship, and support in order to help them grow professionally.
- Own the successful delivery of critical projects by managing timelines, resources, and risks to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
- Drive the prioritization process, balancing short-term business needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership to present progress, challenges, and key decisions, and work closely with solution managers, designers, and other leaders across WellSky to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Own system architecture decisions, including evaluating trade-offs and ensuring that technical debt is managed appropriately, and drive efforts to ensure that software solutions are scalable, high-performing, and resilient.
- Support the development of future engineering leaders by mentoring senior engineers, setting clear goals, and fostering a high level of technical expertise within the team.
- LeverageAItools and platforms as an integral part of daily responsibilities to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive data-informed outcomes.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 6-8 years relevant work experience
- At least 2-4 years relevant management experience
- Designed and developed cloud-native applications leveraging modern architectures and scalable infrastructure
- Led and managed globally distributed teams, fostering collaboration across time zones and cultures to deliver high-impact results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Led modernization and digital transformation initiatives, including migrating monolithic architectures to microservices and transitioning from on-prem to cloud environments
- Experience developing applications using the .NET framework
