Attractive pay

$17.00 - $20.00 p/h

Responsibilities

As the RCM Records Specialist, you will be responsible for responding to and managing Additional Documentation Requests (ADRs), findings letters, and other documentation requests from payors timely.

  • Receives, tracks, and fulfills document requests timely.
  • Ensures documentation request activities are accurately maintained.
  • Performs follow up activities to ensure that documentation requests and findings letters are followed through to completion.
  • Works directly with MRO team to ensure all requests are completed timely.
  • Communicates any issues with management to ensure they are addressed and resolved timely.
  • Complies with policies, procedures, and regulatory mandates including but limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2+) years' experience in medical records experience in a clinic, hospital, or home health setting.
  • Strong data entry skills and ability to type 40-50 wpm with a high level of accuracy.

This position is onsite.
