Quality Engineering Intern

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer Intern to join our team for a hands-on learning experience. As a Quality Engineering Intern, you'll support our quality assurance processes, assist with data analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement projects. This internship is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience in quality systems, manufacturing standards, and cross-functional teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and maintenance of quality documentation, such as inspection checklists, work instructions, and reports.
Support quality engineers in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to product performance and process capability.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning (CAPA).
Help conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for improvement.
Assist in the preparation of quality metrics and dashboards for internal reporting.
Gain exposure to industry quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001,NQA-1).
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Basic understanding of quality principles and tools is a plus (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 5 Whys).
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn and contribute in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework or previous internship in quality or process engineering.
Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Minitab or statistical software.
Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and hands-on learning.
