ICE Endpoint Solutions is responsible for every endpoint, physical and virtual, which currently accounts to just under 25,000 devices globally. Master images/Golden templates, operating system updates/upgrades, security patches, software and configurations fall within the purview of our remit. Endpoint Solutions works closely with multiple IT groups within the organization to ensure proper and compliant operations of endpoints.

Responsibilities

As a member of our Endpoint Solutions team, you will play in integral role in the overall Digital Employee Experience for our employees. The Endpoint Solutions Engineer is responsible for administering multiple systems used to configure, patch and secure endpoint devices.

  • Systems Engineering - Engineer systems crucial to the day-to-day operations of ICE endpoints.
  • Application Deployment - Support the Application Deployment Lifecycle from initial decision making through sunsetting and removal of outdated applications and versions.
  • Tools Management - Focus on automation while implementing, maintaining, and integrating cutting-edge technologies to help ICE employees be productive.
  • Operational Escalation - The Endpoint Engineer will work closely with other End User technicians and engineers in providing technical support and will serve as an escalation point for the end user support team. Will also be expected to provide guidance and documentation for the end user support team.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, CIS or related discipline
  • 3+ years of endpoint engineering experience
  • Knowledge of information technology operations
  • Able to develop and drive initiatives with minimal oversight or guidance
  • Experience with tools like Intune, ServiceNow, Altiris, Tanium
  • Engineering experience with Windows 10 and 11
  • Ability to understand and navigate through complex software packages
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting
  • Technical writing skills are a plus
  • Ability to explain complex systems to business teams as well as EUC teams
