GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides evidence-based care in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and substance use disorders within an interdisciplinary team. Also provides individual, conjoint, group and family psychotherapy; in addition to crisis intervention services, as needed. Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program required. Ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, physicians, multidisciplinary team, and community agencies to achieve desired patient outcomes. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: LLMSW required. Must obtain full licensure upon 24 months of completing 4,000 supervised hours in a full-time status. A limited licensed MSW must practice under direct supervision of a LMSW. A LLMSW must sit for and pass The State Board after acquiring 4,000 hours of supervised social work experience.
