Overview:

Are you an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) eager to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in Cardiology? Sentara Medical Group invites you to join our dedicated team in Hampton Roads, VA as an APP Manager that aims to advance patient care and clinical excellence.

Position Highlights:

• 80% Administrative, 20% Clinical (Outpatient/Inpatient)
• Provide supervision and oversight over all aspects of operations including patient care, customer service, budget, and risk management.
• Adapt leadership style to support achieving department goals and objectives.
• Accountable for developing, monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, patient experience, quality, safety, access and team member performance.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies and regulations and standards of care.
• Uphold clinical staff adherence to practice guidelines and competency expectations
• Responsible for developing and retaining staff with the goal of developing a highly reliable work team
• Develop metrics to measure success
• Partner with APP Team Coordinator for APP Recruitment
• Responsible for facilitation of coding and billing initiatives, independent rounding considerations, etc.
