The firm is seeking a full-time Legal Personnel Coordinator to join the Legal Personnel department/Professional Development department in our New York Office. This is a full-time, Non-exempt position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Provide support to Senior Legal Personnel Coordinator administering the attorney performance reviews (spring and fall reviews).
  • Provide assistance with promotion materials for both counsel and partners.
  • Participate in the onboarding and departure administrative processes for all NY attorneys.
  • Assist with I9s and maintain valid I9 documentation.
  • Routinely enter attorney data and updates into Workday. i.e: new hires, departures, FTE changes, and generate reports.
  • Contribute and assist with all planning and onboarding of the Fall Associates arrival.
  • Manage the Legal Personnel Inbox in Outlook.
  • Cross train with other Legal Personnel Coordinator to perform duties beyond primary job responsibilities.
  • Provide back-up assistance to the Legal Personnel team as needed.
  • At the direction of the Senior Legal Personnel Manager and Director of Professional Development provide support with any ad hoc projects and work requests.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of two-years' experience, preferably in a law firm environment or professional services.
  • Some experience working in a HRIS system, preferably Workday.
  • Excellent organizational skills; prioritizing workload and attention to detail in a fast-paced service-oriented environment.
  • Excellent follow-up skills to maintain accurate, consistent, high standards in all work while maintaining professional confidentiality.
  • Exemplary written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess a "roll up your sleeves" approach to work.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred experience working in Workday, ViGlobal, ViDesktop, iManage and MS Office.
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred .
  • Strong interest in the legal industry is preferred.
