Genesis10 is currently looking for a Senior Data Quality Analyst for a 7 month contract role for our client in Minneapolis, MN. This role is 100% Remote.
Summary:
This Senior Data Quality Analyst role will work within the "client " STARS & Quality team and will be responsible for data quality and the test automation framework within a continuous delivery lifecycle. You will be accountable for ensuring the proper quality assurance controls are adhered to for inbound data, internal analytics, and outbound results to customers while ensuring operational excellence and continuity.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test cases within an ETL, data warehouse, and reporting application environment.
- Responsible for data profiling and system integration testing of ETL, batch processes, reporting deliverables, and user interface applications with an emphasis on data quality.
- Understand and create advanced SQL queries with the ability to troubleshoot issues found in stored procedures and/or customer data. Perform exploratory analysis and queries to identify issues that are not covered by automation.
- Engineer autonomous continuous testing and metric reporting solutions. Explore new software, tools, and capabilities to automate system integration testing to support continuous delivery and DevOps agenda in a data warehouse environment.
- Generate and maintain quality metric reports. Analyze and optimize QA business processes. Monitor and report quality metrics for the STARS & Quality team.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively across teams throughout the QA lifecycle. Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear and concise language that is appropriate to the target audience.
- Use database statistics and data trending to compare data between deliveries to identify issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Data Quality role within a data warehouse environment
- 4+ years of experience working with one or more of the following database technologies: Snowflake, MS-SQL Server, Teradata, Hadoop
- Advanced SQL query experience with the ability to read/write stored procedures
- Experience developing or testing Business Intelligence reporting within Tableau or Power BI
- Experience within the healthcare industry and a sound understanding of healthcare data
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Health Care Company systems (NDB, COSMOS, CSP Facets, SMART, etc.)
- Knowledge of HEDIS and Star Quality Specifications
- Experience developing and executing automated testing of front-end applications using Python, Java, etc.
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $55.00 to $60.00/hr
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
