POSITION OVERVIEW dormakaba is seeking a first shift (6AM - 2:30PM) Assembler II based in Reamstown, PA. The Assembler II is responsible for assembling components and products according to strict specifications and quality standards. HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20/hr. - $25/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). - Follow shop drawings, written instructions, standard operating procedures, quality control guidelines during manufacturing operations, so that products meet quality requirements
- Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
- Maintain a systematic and organized workspace to support accuracy, safety, and production efficiency
- Track and record production data accurately, identifying and reporting any deviations or inconsistencies
- Cross-train in other areas of the production line to support operational flexibility
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- High school diploma and/or GED certification
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings
- Ability to read a tape measure within 1/32nd of an inch
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
- Experience with various hand tools (manual and powered)
