Assembler II

POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a first shift (6AM - 2:30PM) Assembler II based in Reamstown, PA. The Assembler II is responsible for assembling components and products according to strict specifications and quality standards.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE: $20/hr. - $25/hr. plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data). WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Follow shop drawings, written instructions, standard operating procedures, quality control guidelines during manufacturing operations, so that products meet quality requirements
• Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications
• Maintain a systematic and organized workspace to support accuracy, safety, and production efficiency
• Track and record production data accurately, identifying and reporting any deviations or inconsistencies
• Cross-train in other areas of the production line to support operational flexibility

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• High school diploma and/or GED certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings
• Ability to read a tape measure within 1/32nd of an inch
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
• Experience with various hand tools (manual and powered)
