The hospital is the on Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center and labor and Delivery unit in the area. In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles and was the first accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County. Responsibilities Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation. Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording. The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS. Li-MK3 Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. RDMS (ARDMS) or S (ARRT) certification in at least one body or region required within 90 days of hire and maintain.
2. Graduate an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as identified in #1 and graduation within 90 days of hire.
3. Previous experience preferred.
4. Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
