Certified Nurse Assistant -CNA- FT - NOC Shift

Services are provided in our Assisted Living unit as well as in Independent Living apartments as needed. This requires some flexibility handling different types of personalities in varying levels of care. These services are provided in accordance with the Quaker values of simplicity, integrity, equality, and peace.

This position will work directly with our nursing team to implement resident's care plans and record all medications taken or refused, also noting the resident's condition. The qualified candidate will understand basic medication terminology with the ability to read, write and communicate in English. We are looking for an employee who can work independently and responsibly with critical thinking skills and problem solving capabilities.

The Nurse Aide will also assist residents with daily living activities and other personal care services as assigned. Such activities could include: dressing assistance, meal preparation, grooming, oral care, shower/bath assistance, hygiene, hair care, light housekeeping, or laundry. All care will be performed with respect and compassion while promoting the individuality and comfort of all residents. We are seeking candidates with the desire and willingness to work in a collaborative environment for the improved care and satisfaction of our residents.

Requirements:

* Criminal background clearance with the DOJ and FBI

* Physically healthy and strong enough to push, pull, or lift supplies or equipment up to fifty pounds.

* Physical clearance by company doctor with negative Drug Panel and negative TB test.

* Able to move to and from different residential apartments in any weather conditions.

* May be exposed to dust, housekeeping and disinfecting solutions, or infectious diseases.
