Maintenance Associate

Conduct handyperson services, maintenance work, and specialized labor such as forklift operation and truck driving. This role encompasses all company locations. This is a Full-Time position with benefits.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform basic repairs and maintenance in our facilities
• Assist with new store setups and store renovations
• Troubleshoot issues reported by store staff at the direction of the Help Desk
• Update Maintenance Manager on work progress and results
• Understand maintenance priorities and follow direction
• Drive box truck (up to 26') as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills. Must maintain accurate, complete records of work done, work requested, and work in progress
• Strong communications skills. Will be communicating with store staff, corporate staff, maintenance staff, and outside vendors
• Background in maintenance/handy work preferred but not required, will provide on-the-job training
• Will need to problem solve and operate independently at times
• Must have valid IL driver's license and safe, clean driving record
• Either have or willing to obtain CDL license
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Flexible work hours required

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay range is $20.00-$24.00 based on skills and experience
