What You Will Do:
  • Defines product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned products. Aligns product goals with company objectives and ensures stakeholder buy-in through clear communication.
  • Works closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products on time. Facilitates agile ceremonies and ensures cross-functional alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Prioritizes features based on business goals, customer needs, and technical feasibility. Uses frameworks like RICE or MoSCoW to make transparent, data-informed prioritization decisions.
  • Conducts market research to understand competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation. Synthesizes findings into actionable insights that shape product positioning and feature development.
  • Develops detailed product requirements documents (PRDs). Ensures PRDs include user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge cases to guide development and QA. Oversee the creation of content and thought leadership in your area of subject matter expertise that assists tax and legal practitioners, both in terms of substance and workflows, to undertake their work more efficiently and to learn new areas more quickly.
You need to have:
  • 4+ years building and shipping successful technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, product delivery manager, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher OR as a subject matter expert with product or technical proficiency.
  • Solid understanding of product discovery and delivery techniques, with hands-on experience applying them.
  • Proven ability to contribute to product vision, define roadmaps, and align product goals with business outcomes.
  • Experience using data and experimentation to drive product decisions.
  • Skilled at creating and presenting demos or prototypes to communicate product direction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across disciplines.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
