Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Eagleton Science Fellows for the Eagleton Institute of Politics.

Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Assists New Jersey State government policy- and decision-makers with the design and implementation of policies based in sound evidence and innovative approaches.
  • Aides full-time in the executive or legislative branch and brings advanced technical skills to service in state government.
  • Leads a research project and progress independently.
  • Collaborates with the Eagleton Science and Politics Program and/or the Science Fellow's placement supervisor.

FLSA Exempt
Salary Details $70,000

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Ph.D. in a natural science or engineering discipline or doctoral-level degree in a health profession.

  • Eagleton offices are located within a historic building with no elevator.
  • The duties of this position regularly involve navigating stairs numerous times a day.

Immunization Requirements
