The CRM Database Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's current Blackbaud CRM and other fundraising technology to ensure data integrity, systems integration, and a seamless and convenient user-experience. The candidate will possess a good understanding of how our organization can and should utilize CRM. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential to work well with staff in multiple departments to facilitate, troubleshoot, and educate. The candidate should advocate for the CRM and help to appropriately expand its use while maintaining a clean, organized database.
This is a technical role that requires understanding and experience in database management, PowerBI, SQL, and providing end-user support. This position enables fundraising activity and donor engagement by optimizing database functionality, ensuring data integrity for reporting and analytics, and that all Foundation team members have access to necessary information to inform data-driven decisions. This role interacts with all members of the Foundation and will report to the Vice President of Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Administer and maintain Blackbaud CRM to ensure data flow and usability across the Foundation.
* Perform regular updates, troubleshooting, and system optimization to enhance performance and improve usability and outcomes.
* Develop and oversee data integrity standards, insuring accurate and current data across the platforms.
* Evaluate, plan, and execute the implementation of third-party enhancements and data hygiene.
* Maintain the Foundation's code repository.
* Collaborate on the design and maintenance the CRM data warehouse.
* Ensure compliance with enterprise information security standards and implement best-practices for data integrity and information security.
* Participate as a member of the data governance advisory group (DGAG) and ensure ongoing AI-readiness for Foundation in collaboration with Hospital best practices.
* Establish standards for data entry and validation.
* Recommend optimization and customization for the CRM and related systems.
* Gather requirements for reporting, tracking, and analysis from Foundation team members.
* Build and maintain queries, standard reports, and datasets that aid in data analysis and visualizations.
* Create and maintain processes and workflows to sync data between systems and tools.
* Collaborate with others to create dashboards, reports and other analyses to engage effectiveness, engagement, and overall impact.
* Gather requirements for reporting, tracking, and analysis from Foundation team members.
* Build and maintain queries, standard reports, and datasets that aid in data analysis and visualizations.
* Create and maintain processes and workflows to sync data between systems and tools.

* Ensure seamless integrations between Blackbaud systems and other software and systems used by the Foundation.
* Identify and promote opportunities for automation and enhanced efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications
- Degrees
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or other related field required. No equivalency.
- Experience
* Five or more years of direct experience in Database Administration, with a minimum of three in Blackbaud CRM.
* Demonstrated experience, knowledge, and understanding of data governance, privacy regulations, and information security best practices
* Proficiency in working with SQL databases managing system backups.
* Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
* Ability to use discretion and appropriate safeguards with confidential data.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ideal candidates will have experience working in a non-profit environment and familiarity with data warehouse design desired but not required (vendor-provided data warehouse is in place).
* Experience with Microsoft administration and tools (e.g., Office365, Azure Active Directory, SQL, and PowerBI).
Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $80,000.00 to $120,000.00
