Job Summary

Oversee the fundraising strategy and fundraising team. This individual is also a fundraiser, managing a portfolio of current and prospective donors for the TCC Foundation while meeting expected annual engagement revenue by following the fundraising cycle of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. With institutional knowledge, this person builds relationships with donors, demonstrating the value of TCC's mission and the impact of the TCC Foundation on the community. The Development Officer will create fundraising appeals, organize campaigns, and write proposals for specific fundraising needs. This role is also expected to write grant applications and uphold grant guidelines with Faculty and Staff on College projects and programs.

Essential Duties
-
Manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors, including individuals, corporations and foundations through the donor cycle of identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, including maintaining information and actions in donor management system.
Collaborate with Foundation Team Members and Board of Trustees to align fundraising efforts with the college's goals.
Create, plan and execute fundraising campaigns, appeals, proposals as directed.
Write grant applications and coordinate grant compliance.
Manage the Foundation development staff and upskill them for success.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Sales and Marketing, Human Relations, Public Relations, Public Administration or related field. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.
5 years fundraising, sales, or comparable experience in positions demonstrating successful achievement of engagement, revenue support, and stewardship of targeted audiences.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
