Responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of application software supporting mission-critical business applications within the Facilities Experience Delivery Team. Support management in the development of long-term strategic goals around web-based digital products. Implement features of user interface based on design concepts and mockups, using front-end development technologies. Help to prepare for and participate in conducting user research on applications. Maintain and support existing front-end applications. Aid in making deliberate design decisions and translate any provided user-experience mockup or wireframe into a smooth and intuitive interaction. Lead the design and implementation of web components with a strong focus on reusability. Recommend both technical and process improvements and solutions to the Architect and management team for review. Maintain a broad knowledge of modern technology, equipment, systems, and frameworks. Plan and organize tasks, report on project progress, and coordinate with additional development teams. Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, Developers, and Development Managers to come up with front-end designs and development. Be the DevOps champion to configure and deploy web applications in a cloud environment through CI/CD pipelines. Leverage knowledge of the security processes & standards involved in distributed web applications. Explore new technologies that can be applied to solve challenging business problems. Advocate for best-in-class developer experience in terms of tooling, principles, and patterns for modern software development. Provide mentoring on advanced development concepts and technical capabilities to developers. Design application and database components for development projects. Maintain and modify web applications; make approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes. Implement the right technologies for addressing common cross-cutting concerns within the environment (Monitoring, Testing, Logging, Distributed tracing etc.) to promote re-usability. Provide code reviews and make sure all developers are following SW coding standards. Provide support for critical web application problems and issues. Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems as required. Conduct research into modern technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks. Train and knowledge share with development teams. Assist in training and knowledge sharing with development teams and helps to coach junior-level developers and/or Professional Apprentices as needed. Facilitate project/task management and reporting, as necessary. Conduct presentations to management, clients, and peer groups as requested. Role is hybrid allowing periodic work from home within reasonable commuting distance of the Cleveland, OH office. Multiple openings available.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Software Developer or related role where required experience gained.

SPECIAL SKILLS: Also requires experience in the following:



  • Five (5) of Information Technology;
  • Five (5) years in designing, developing, and implementing distributed IT systems;
  • Five (5) years in CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript;
  • Four (4) years of React JS;
  • Two (2) years with a Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) such as Oracle, DB2, Postgres, Azure SQL, and NoSQL (Cosmos DB or Mongo DB);
  • Modern JavaScript App development with React 16.8+ and React Router 6+;
  • React built-in hooks, creating custom hooks, React Context, state/dependency management, and MUI;
  • Azure Cloud platform management;
  • Command line git and GitHub;
  • CI/CD, DevOps, Cloud, and automation;
  • Unit tests/automated testing; and
  • Working as part of an enterprise web team, interfacing with other developers, designers, web engineers, and external agencies or partners.
