Compensation Range:$108,100 To $135,100 Plus Bonus

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution, to ensure timely, cost-effective project completion. They collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies, managing the workforce and resources needed to meet project goals while maintaining high-quality standards and safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution

- Develop and oversee construction project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
- Coordinate project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.

Team Leadership and Coordination

- Manage and coordinate on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and skilled trades.
- Ensure all project personnel understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Conduct regular site meetings to ensure alignment and communication across all team members.

Budget and Cost Management

- Monitor project expenses and oversee budget allocations.
- Control project costs to avoid overruns and address any discrepancies or changes.
- Approve purchase orders and ensure efficient use of materials and resources.

Quality Control and Compliance

- Ensure projects meet quality standards and comply with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project progress, changes, and inspections.

Risk Management and Problem Solving

- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address and resolve any unexpected issues or delays to keep the project on schedule.
- Manage change orders and communicate any schedule adjustments to stakeholders.

Client and Stakeholder Communication

- Serve as the primary and secondary point of contact for clients, updating them on project status.
- Facilitate clear communication between all parties, including architects, engineers, suppliers, and regulators.
- Provide regular progress reports and ensure all stakeholders are informed of any changes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5+ years of experience in construction management or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

- Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).

- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in construction management (e.g., PMP, CCM) is a plus.
