Operates radiographic and other related equipment and assists physicians as necessary to complete diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages. In addition to performing General Radiology, staff will perform exams in two or more of the following imaging modalities: CT, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI, or DEXA. Performs other administrative duties as assigned.
REQUIRES: Graduate from an accredited radiologic technologist program. Graduate from an accredited program or similar on the job training in two or more of the following modalities: CT, diagnostic ultrasound, mammography, MRI, DEXA, or student coordinator. Valid California Radiologic Technologist certification. Valid California Fluoroscopy certification within 6 months of hire (Per Diem employees are not required to have a Fluoroscopy certification). Basic Life Support certification. Achievment of advanced certification in two additional modalities: CT, MRI, DEXA, or Mammography (CT and DEXA certifications must be achieved no later than 4/30/2020).
