Job Openings:

Rockwell is hiring for Prototype Assembler 1 are on 3 shifts.

The starting rate of $15.31 hour.

We offer an additional 6% for 2nd shift and 10% for 3rd shift.

You will report directly to the production supervisor your respective shift.

You will be part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation

SCHEDULES:

1st shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

2nd shift: Monday-Friday 3:00p.m. - 11:30p.m.

3rd shift: Sunday Night-ending Friday morning 11:00pm-7:00am

(Shift schedules could potentially change depending on the department)

Overtime is an essential function of this position which typically requires 10+ hours of standard hours of overtime/week. Actual overtime hours may vary.

Responsibilities and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Complete mechanical assembly based on provided work instructions.
  • Use proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures. Perform housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Set-up and operate assembly equipment (hand tools, pneumatic tools, lifts, etc.).
  • Respond quickly and constructively to changing priorities.
  • Pack Products from presses
  • Assist Molding Operators with daily operations
  • Follow established documented work instructions
  • Help with documented visual & dimensional quality checks
  • Help with machine preventative maintenance and cleaning
  • Work with team in keeping mold cell clean and organized
  • Willing to work in any assigned department within the facility when requested by supervisor.
  • Conduct tasks following applicable Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Regulations (State/Federal Laws, ISO9001, ISO14000) and Rockwell Automation procedures
  • May occasionally need to change work schedule to accommodate our needs
  • Must be willing to accept work assignments from other manufacturing support personnel/management
  • Willing to train on all hand and power equipment

SKILLS:

  • Assemble using hand and power tools

  • Problem Solving
  • Mechanical Ability

Role Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs.
  • Visual and Hand Dexterity
  • Sit and Stand for long periods
  • Use proper safety equipment and following all safety procedures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/GED OR 1 year of related experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Typically requires 1 year previous related experience.
