Job Skills / Requirements
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to conduct covert mobile and stationary surveillance
- Prepares accurate and detailed investigative reports
- Performs periodic and random security inspections and prepares security reports, as necessary.
- Network and act as a liaison with outside law enforcement and other first responders - as well as industry organizations.
- Executive Protection (EP): At the direction of senior management, may provide and coordinate an advance, due diligence, logistical and protective support for key company executives during company events
- Prepare and maintain site physical security assessments (PSA) and advises senior management of deficiencies and remedial mitigation recommendations to improve deficiencies.
- Assists in the implementation and administration of automated security systems. Maintains records for periodic secure systems inspections with customer liaisons and other technical professionals.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Work with management to plan, organize, and conduct difficult and complex investigations related to internal and external security issues. This includes but is not limited to; conducting and directing interviews of direct and indirect witnesses, offenders and victims, searching records, documents, other media, surveillance, and preparing investigative findings in a comprehensive, coherent and proficient written report that meet legal and regulatory requirements for presentations to business leaders to aid in business decisions and to law enforcement, when warranted.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
- Must have at least 6 years experience with conducting investigations in Security, Law Enforcement, or Military
- Working knowledge of security requirements and incident investigation is required
- Experience with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have valid Driver's License
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Must have High School Diploma or GED
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
- Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
- Ability to function as an effective team member.
- Strong knowledge of criminal and corporate investigative practices and procedures.
- Strong and proven knowledge of interviewing and interrogation skills and practices.
- Working knowledge of laws governing investigative practices including privacy, evidence, etc.
- Energetic self-starter requiring minimal management supervision.
