Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate to join its premier national Health Care Practice Group in the Boston, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Milwaukee, Nashville, or Tampa office. Our Health Care Practice Group represents all sectors of health care services, including physician practices, telemedicine companies, and numerous health care entities and systems, as well as venture and private equity investors focused on health care and life sciences.

Qualified candidates will possess 3-6 years of transactional experience, with particular emphasis on health-care focused clients, and will have knowledge of federal and state health care regulatory environments and their effect and interplay in health care transactions, as well as day-to-day business matters affecting health care industry clients. The ideal candidate also will have sophisticated transactional document drafting skills, the ability to manage complex projects and matters, and a willingness to train and mentor junior associates.

We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated associate, who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice and in a collegial environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of the Health Care Practice Group. AmLaw 100 experience preferred. Excellent academic credentials, writing and communication skills are required. The candidate should be comfortable with direct interaction with both senior partners and clients and have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic.

To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Bar of the jurisdiction(s) in which the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the Bar coinciding with the office of hire will be a condition of employment.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary range for this position is between $260,000 - $390,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
