About This Role
Kansas State University's College of Agriculture is seeking an energetic Student Engagement Coordinator that is ready to engage with students and their families through social media and at in-person events and activities. The Student Engagement Coordinator provides essential programming and support within the academic student services function by optimizing student engagement through both departmental and college level events and activities. Utilizing a comprehensive understanding of institutional programs, procedures, and policies, this role assists fosters and develops student engagement and involvement; develops social media content as it pertains to student engagement; assists with current and prospective students, their families, and faculty with a variety of inquiries and topics. Key responsibilities include developing and facilitating student engagement, working with departmental and college level staff to provide social media content as it pertains to student engagement activities, supporting college level summer programming for prospective students, supporting departmental student organizations, coordinating internship opportunities, and providing back-up for the recruitment team as needed.
