Posting Summary
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in conjunction with Rutgers Health invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level in Pediatric Pathology within the section of Surgical Pathology in the Division of Anatomic Pathology. The section is responsible for performance of pediatric pathology laboratory services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - the school's 650 bed tertiary care core teaching hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. The laboratory also covers the activities of the Bristol-Meyers-Squibb Children's Hospital which is connected to the main hospital. The successful candidate will be a member of the Pediatric Pathology team, consulting with clinical staff and participating in tumor boards, as well as active participants in the educational programs of the Department including teaching medical students, residents, and clinical fellows, and will be expected to engage in productive research activities. In addition, participation on the autopsy service will be required but is limited to pediatric cases. Additional subspecialty expertise in areas such as neuropathology, breast pathology, genitourinary pathology, etc will be given consideration.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
An MD, DO, or MBBS is required along with board certification or board eligibility in AP/CP or AP and cytopathology. Academic rank and compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and academic experience. Women and diverse candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
