JOB SUMMARY The Physician Faculty Recruiter is responsible for coordinating and executing recruitment efforts for physician faculty positions across clinical departments within UT Southwestern Medical Center. This position supports the institution's academic mission by sourcing top clinical talent who also contributes to education and research. The recruiter will work closely with department chairs, faculty affairs, and HR colleagues to manage the full-cycle recruitment process from job posting through offer acceptance and onboarding. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required

3 years of experience in physician, healthcare, or academic recruitment. Familiarity with academic appointment processes, clinical faculty credentialing, and visa sponsorship is a plus.

JOB DUTIES
- Recruitment Operations
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for physician faculty roles, including job postings, candidate outreach, screening, interview coordination, and offer facilitation.
- Partner with department leaders and faculty affairs to develop position descriptions and understand academic rank requirements.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines.
- Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
- Source candidates using job boards, academic networks, residency/fellowship programs, and digital platforms such as PracticeLink, Doximity, Doc Cafe and LinkedIn.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline through proactive outreach and relationship management.
- Coordinate candidate site visits, interviews, and interactions with department leadership, HR, and key stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with Faculty Affairs, Legal, and Immigration teams to ensure credentialing, visa processing (J-1, H-1B), and appointment requirements are met.
- Support academic department chairs in identifying recruitment needs and creating recruitment plans aligned with strategic goals.
- Assist with the preparation of offer letters and liaise with compensation and benefits teams as needed.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Track recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, candidate source effectiveness, and pipeline of candidates
- Support institutional accreditation and audit processes with accurate recruitment documentation.
