As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and other cloud providers. You will ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our cloud-based systems, utilizing Azure services and tools to build and optimize our cloud architecture and processes. In addition, this role will help develop an overall IT strategy, provide training, and develop other team members.

As a Cloud Engineer, you will:


  • Design, implement, and manage server infrastructure on modern cloud platforms
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible
  • Ensure high performance, reliability, and security of our cloud-based systems
  • Automate infrastructure workflows and processes using CI/CD orchestration tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, including performance tuning and error handling
  • Implement best practices for data security and ensure compliance with security and governance policies
  • Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to ensure cost-efficiency
  • Work closely with other cross functional teams for high availability of end-to-end financial services
  • Collaborate with application administrators, analysts, and other stakeholders to improve cloud services in support of their application needs
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Technical Degree / Bachelor's Degree in technology or related field preferred
  • 5+ year's experience as a Cloud Engineer required
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and software development life cycles
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with IAM including SAML, OAuth, and other standards
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture principles
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible and python
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash and PowerShell
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
