Operations and Sustainment Lead

HX5 is currently seeking an Operations and Sustainment Lead to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of engineers and administrators in supporting a customer's IT requirements across multiple mediums and
    dispersed across three different sites.
  • Ensure continuous customer support through monitoring and allocating resources towards break/fix issues, new
    installations, external customer support at off-site locations, and coordination with matrixed discrete project teams.
  • Monitor and communicate all potential impacts to customer's mission from a communications and IT perspective.
  • Help assess risk and implement mitigation strategies for the customer to ensure continued communication and
    operational readiness.
  • Work with asset management to ensure technology refresh, and procurement, schedule stay on plan.
  • Anticipate the needs of the customer on future licensing, access, and account administration requirements and
    proactively allocate resources accordingly.
  • Provide engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and
    implementation for complex systems required to meet technical requirements
  • Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, and support efforts

Salary Range: This position is expected to pay $110,000 - $129,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Education andExperience:
Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  • Must have 8, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
  • Must have 5, or more, years of directly related experience
  • Must have 1 year of experience working in a management or leadership role
  • Must have 5, or more, years of experience in enterprise and mission IT support
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Other Position Requirements:

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain the required level clearance by date of hire.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.
