YOUR ROLE

To provide support to the Customer and Account Owners(s) to provide the best possible customer experience. With the collaboration with the Control Tower Team and Operations, promoting operational excellence through continuous improvement.
The objective of this role is to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure we are proactive, monitor data integrity, provide visibility, propose new solutions, deal with crises and lead action plans.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?




  • Oversee customer's freight through tracing and tracking. Maintaincontact with the airlines, trucking companies and any agents that will be handling the freight to ensure shippers and consignees are aware of any problems.
  • Manage customer support by responding to and handling all daily customer service requests. Notify customers of any delays in shipping and dispatching points. Prepare and assist with quotes for customers.
  • Lead periodic conference calls internal business partners/the network/operations in reviewing new changes, implementation of new initiatives, performance reviews, standard operating/transportation plans, dashboards reports.
  • Proactively monitor and collaborate with internal business partners/the network/operations in the event of any service deviations from the standard transportation mapping that may affect our services to the customer.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Owner(s) & Internal Business Partners in supporting business review materials on a periodic basis (monthly & quarterly) for the customer
  • Monitor the performance and highlight anomalies or actions needed to concerned stakeholders
  • Participate in and lead internal implementation of New Accounts, New Lanes and New Requirements on existing accounts.
  • Support in preparing back-up solutions with the network in any state of high risked situations that can cause disruption to the expectations of the client.
  • Facilitate and communicate constructive solutions and corrective actions as per customers' expectations
  • Develop, Maintain, and update the Client SOPs and communicate within the network.
  • Review Processes and Transport plans for continuous improvement, efficiencies and profitability opportunities.
  • Participate in providing suggestions and insight for RFQs, Spot Quotes and Solutions with Product/Procurement
  • Follow and enforce the process on structured alert management to communicate with Customers proactively on specific event description, potential/impact of customers and actions plans/BCP.



WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma or GED; Two to three years related experience.



Skills:



  • Intermediateproficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • LINK/My CEVA, TrackAdmin, Cargo Wise/OFS, Reporting Systems
  • Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. currency, weight, volume and distance measurements.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine correspondence. Responds promptly and professionally to customer needs. Gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
