JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS The Coping and Regulation of Environment Stress (CaRES) Lab, directed by Dr. Martha Wadsworth in the College of Liberal Arts at Penn State University, invites applications for multiple Part Time Child Participant Assessors in the Harrisburg/Hershey, PA area. The Part Time Child Participant Assessors will have the opportunity to work on a NIMH-funded study, investigating the efficacy of the Building a Strong Identity and Coping Skills (BaSICS) program, which is a group-based, team-building coping and empowerment intervention developed specifically to meet the needs of youth growing up in poverty. This position will mainly be responsible for completing assessments with child participants, aged 11-14 within the Harrisburg and Hershey, PA areas. This position is responsible for working directly with children and their families to collect data. Key duties include preparing spaces for assessments, working with children and their families to review consent documents, working directly with children to collect various types of data, and maintain detailed records of data collection. The Child Participant Assessor plays a vital role in working with children and their families during the assessment process. Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities:
